A pet that can follow commands like a dog (such as go, stop, heel). Commands are given through a phone and enabled with a server hosted on the dog.

Design

  • Software/Firmware

    Voice commands processing.

Budget

We used $x from our $250 budget. Here's the breakdown of how we used it:

About Us

Learn more about the team behind Super Spot!

Audrey Renaud
Hi! I’m Audrey, a sophomore mechanical engineering major at Olin.
I’m interested in a wide array of engineering disciplines, and used SuperSpot as an
opportunity to learn more about electrical integration. I also developed mechanical
prototyping skills by designing and fabricating the ball for our project.

Sam Wisnoski
Electrical Engineering Student.
Firmware/Electrical Lead for SuperSpot. Massive Bob Dylan fan.

Luca Odio
Hello I’m Luca! I’m currently a sophomore year mechanical engineering major.

Shauna Sperou
Howdy! My name is Shauna and I am a sophomore studying mechanical engineering at Olin!
I’ve enjoyed designing the mechanical components of SuperSpot to make sure the motors and
electrical systems are well-integrated within the robot's body. This project has helped me
grow my skills in designing for manufacturability, dynamic problem-solving, and has tested
my patience with SolidWorks.
